One day, I purchased a telephone from the local thrift shop. When I returned home to plug it in, it rang immediately. Upon answering, I was surprised to find myself on the other line, just five years into the future. I decided to record it and post our conversation here.

It’s alive… this is our attempt to create something to the style of Terry Bisson’s “Meat”.

Estranged romance, sibling rivalry, bitter bondage buddies, obnoxious neighbors, pulled away parents, warring countries, S&M gone b-a-d, mending fences.

A meeting is about to happen in a far off apartment room. These strangers will know each from a certain code. They are to discuss the steps that they are required to take to complete their mission. What they don’t know, is that one of them is a rat.
